Arizona Farm Bureau Co-Hosts Statewide Conference
ARIZONA, February 13, 2007 – In conjunction with Project CENTRL Alumni and United Dairymen of Arizona Young Cooperators, Arizona Farm Bureau Young Farmers & Ranchers is hosting a one-day conference March 9 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Property in Casa Grande. The conference theme, Activism in Arizona, focuses on proactive strategies that advance and protect the economic benefits of agriculture in Arizona. The major conference sponsor is Farm Credit Services Southwest.
Logger and President of Communities for a Great Northwest and Alliance for America, Bruce Vincent will be the keynote speaker. An advocate of the Wise Use movement, Vincent regularly appears on McNeil/Lehrer Hour and has been on 60 Minutes. His presentation is designed to motivate participants to become proactive on agriculture issues most important to them.
