Arizona Farm Bureau's Annual Meeting Begins: President Bob Stallman Speaks to Arizona's Farmers and Ranchers
American Farm Bureau Federation (AFBF) President Bob Stallman will speak to Arizona’s farmers and ranchers at this year’s Arizona Farm Bureau Annual Meeting, Thursday, November 10 at the Wigwam Resort in Litchfield Park, Arizona. He’ll be addressing more than 300 farm and ranch delegates from around the state regarding critical agriculture issues.
“Farm Bureau has an outstanding reputation as an effective grassroots organization,” says AFBF President Stallman. “For the past 92 years nationally and 90 years for Arizona Farm Bureau ─ Farm Bureau members have played instrumental roles in legislative efforts that have helped shape U.S. and Arizona agriculture.”
As AFBF President, Stallman presides over the nation’s largest and most influential general farm organization. A rice and cattle producer from Texas, Stallman is the 11th president in the organization's history; Mr. Stallman was first elected president in 2000. Prior to becoming AFBF President, Mr. Stallman was president of the Texas Farm Bureau. He became a member of AFBF's board of directors in 1994.
A 1974 honors graduate of the University of Texas, Mr. Stallman joined the family farm operation in 1975.
“We’re pleased to have AFBF President Stallman speak to our farm and ranch delegation this month,” says Arizona Farm Bureau President Kevin Rogers. “He brings to our members a wealth of insight and information on U.S. agriculture and an encouraging commitment to the organization.”
