It's County Annual Meeting Season!

It’s County Annual Meeting Season!

By Paul Brierley, Arizona Farm Bureau
Late summer means one thing every year: It’s Annual Meeting time for your County Farm Bureau. The County Annual Meeting is not only a time to look back on the year’s accomplishments, but also a time of renewal for your organization.

New policies will be discussed, approved and sent on to the state and national organizations as appropriate. New officers will be elected to lead the organization through another year. And new friendships will be made while old ones will be renewed.

In preparation for the meeting, I strongly encourage you to consider serving as a county officer or state delegate for your county. The time commitment is not large, and the rewards are plentiful. I’ve seen first-hand the power of our grassroots members getting active in the Farm Bureau, and you can move mountains with the voice that Farm Bureau gives you.
