Excellence in Agriculture
The Farm Bureau Excellence in Agriculture Award Program is designed as an opportunity for young agriculturalists to earn recognition, while actively contributing and growing through their involvement in Farm Bureau and agriculture. Participants will be judged on an application and PowerPoint presentation detailing their involvement in agriculture, leadership ability, involvement and participation in Farm Bureau and other organizations (i.e., civic, service and community). The ideal candidate(s) for the Excellence in Agriculture Award is an individual or couple who are non-production agriculturalist(s) that promote the agricultural industry through their daily work routine. Application is due to the AZFB office by 5 p.m. on Friday, October 21, 2011.

AZFB Excellence in Agriculture Application
The contestant who earns the privilege of being named the Arizona Excellence in Agriculture winner will receive:
- $500 cash prize
- A trip to the 2012 National Excellence in Agriculture Competition held inNashville at the 2013 AFBF Annual Meeting.
The contestant who earns the privilege of being named the National Excellence in Agriculture winner receives some incredible awards:
- 2012 Chevy Silverado Pickup (approximate retail value of $35,000)
- Paid registration to the 2013 YF&R Leadership Conference in Phoenix, az
- The three National Runners-up each receive:
- Each of the three runner's up will receive a $5,000 U.S. Savings Bond and a Farm Boss Chain saw, courtesy of Stihl Outdoor Power Equipment.
