On behalf of the Arizona Department of Agriculture, the Arizona Farm Bureau shares this information with its members.

The Arizona Department of Agriculture will be offering virtual grant application workshops, three workshops will be held for the Livestock Operator Fire and Flood Assistance Program or LOFFAP. The Arizona Department of Agriculture encourages attendees to bring any questions to the virtual workshop.

The purpose of the program is to provide a source of funding for landowners and lessees of a livestock operation with more than 40 animals under normal operating conditions; that require assistance as a result of a wildfire and associated flooding; and are ineligible for funding from, or partially funded by, another federal or state program. LOFFAP is a state grant program authorized by A.R.S. § 3-109.03 (B).
