Livestock and dairy operations may have an opportunity to work with the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) to help support its Wild Horse and Burro Program.

BLM has issued a Request for Information (RFI) to identify operations with the capability and interest to provide Off-Range Corral services for wild horses and burros removed from public rangelands. Facilities are being sought in Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Kansas, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, Nevada, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, and Wyoming.

The RFI is not a formal solicitation or offer of a contract. Instead, BLM is gathering information to better understand where suitable facilities and services may be available. The agency may contact respondents directly for additional information.

Members with available facilities or an interest in providing these services are encouraged to review the RFI available at this link for specific requirements, requested information, and Department of the Interior contact details. Responses are due October 5.
