Hello and welcome to Arizona Farm Bureau’s interactive world at www.azfb.org.
I am John Boelts, a generational Yuma farmer with my wife, Alicia. We farm 3,000 acres of fresh vegetables and melons, durum wheat, cotton, forage crops and seed crops along with partners in Yuma.
The Arizona Farm Bureau is Arizona’s largest farm and ranch organization with membership that represents production agriculture throughout the state of Arizona. We are "The Voice of Agriculture" in Arizona.
In addition, Farm Bureau is an independent, non-governmental grassroots organization that analyzes problems and formulates action to achieve educational improvement, economic opportunity, and social advancement, and thereby promoting national well-being.
As the agriculture industry faces new challenges in the future, the Farm Bureau will be there to assist our members in tackling those challenges. We will be involved in lobbying on county, state and national issues. We will be there to discuss issues of profitability, property rights, labor, water, trade, farm policy, tax issues, environmental issues and much more.
Additionally, we provide a variety of communication formats to engage our members and the public including our consumer-facing Fill Your Plate, where Arizona families can learn more about Arizona agriculture. We also provide educational resources and opportunities to students from primary grades through college level to explain agriculture in Arizona. We will also continue to offer value to our members by making products and services available to our members at discounted prices.
