With early ballots ready to hit mailboxes next week, it’s likely that you know how you’ll vote on some of Arizona’s big races. But that means it’s time to start looking down ballot and formulating your opinions on local races and ballot initiatives.
Arizona Farm Bureau surveyed all of Arizona’s legislative candidates, and the responses of those who replied are posted now on our website. We also surveyed candidates for the Central Arizona Water Conservation District Board, which will prove to be one of the most important races in the election because of the key role they will play in managing the CAP through the crisis on the Colorado River. You can see those candidate responses on our site as well.
Finally, you’ll also see an unusually large number of propositions on this year’s ballot. Ballot initiatives are a cornerstone of Arizona’s political process, but they aren’t without their flaws. This year, there are three propositions designed to make ballot initiatives simpler and more democratic, and Arizona Farm Bureau supports all three. Find out why by going to www.azfb.org/vote!
And, of course, if you aren’t registered to vote, fix that now! October 11 is the last day to make sure your voice can be heard in 2022.
