By Peggy Jo Goodfellow, Arizona Farm Bureau: For busy families, getting more done in less time is a must. When it comes to financial and insurance issues, I’ve found that one of the best ways to save time and energy is to contact my agent for all of all my needs. This “one-stop shopping” can save you time, and it may save you money, too.

The recent earthquake in Arizona, made me wonder if my Homeowners policy covered damage from an earthquake. Guess what?  Standard home insurance covers disasters such as fire, theft, damage from smoke, vandalism, water and wind.  It does not cover damage caused by earthquake or flood.

Thinking of purchasing a new vehicle?  Keep in mind that many factors affect the rate on your auto insurance. The vehicles’s model, make, year and the driver’s experience and age all impact your auto insurance.  It might be worth a call to your agent, before you shop for a new vehicle, to find out what the insurance cost will be on various makes and models…it could save you money.

The good news is that Farm Bureau Financial Services offers discounts to Farm Bureau member customers who insure their home and auto together, plus breaks for having both a life policy and an auto policy.  Having all of your policies with one agent also can improve your service—you have one agent who knows you and your family—and helps eliminate the gaps in your coverage that might occur if you had different agents, or different insurers, handling your assets.

Your agent can offer a wealth of products and services that lets Farm Bureau Financial Services grow right along with your family, from birth to retirement.  Talk to your agent today about how he or she can help you save time and money.
