Arizona Farm Bureau (AZFB) in partnership with National Pork Producers Council (NPPC) is excited to host a dynamic Legislative Education Action Development Resource (LEADR) training combined with Effective Communications training hosted in partnership with the American Farm Bureau Federation (AFBF). Lucy Russell with the NPPC and Johnna Miller with AFBF will join AZFB for this exciting opportunity to learn from two national leaders in the world of advocacy and communications.
LEADR training will teach grassroots advocates on how to effectively build, maintain, and coordinate volunteers to advance agriculture and defend against unfavourable policy at both the state and national level. As we head into November, with our ballot initiative, effective grassroots advocacy is going to be paramount to success. Come and learn from the experts on how together we can effectively advocate and win in November.
Effective Communications is an extremely sought after training where participants will gain valuable insights into effective communication techniques with featured speaker Johnna Miller that include strategies to navigate media interactions, how to connect authentically with the public through truth and empathy and mastering the ability to do a media interview.
We will kick off the event with dinner on June 11th hosted by the NPPC and finish up at 4pm on June 12th. Space is limited and will be on a first come first serve basis. Participants will receive one night’s hotel accommodation and lunch will be provided. Reserve your spot today to learn from two of the industry’s best.
