AITC Mission

The Arizona Farm Bureau Agriculture in the Classroom Program develops and implements curriculum and programs, aligned to the state learning standards to help students and teachers be successful, while increasing agricultural awareness in K-6 classrooms and beyond.

Farm Friday Fun with AITC is Back!
This year-long program is once again being offered to K-6th grade teachers across the state. Sign up your class today and learn about a new Arizona commodity each month. Participating classrooms will receive a digital curriculum, which includes facts about the crop of the month, an Arizona Farm profile and a lesson plan that incorporates that month's crop. Life Cycle of a Pumpkin Ag Literacy
It is time to schedule your spot for AITC's Life Cycle of a Pumpkin Ag Literacy Event. The first 500 K-2nd Grade Teachers to sign up for this event get to keep the book for their classroom library! The 30-minute presentation includes a story and a hands-on activity to reinforce concepts learned in the story. The program runs October 17th - November 4th. "From Farm to Football" is in Arizona Classrooms!

In cooperation with Hickman’s Family Farms, and the Arizona Cardinals, we are excited to offer classrooms across the state “From Farm to Football.” Provide your students with an opportunity to hear from Arizona Cardinals’ running back, David Johnson, and learn about the role agriculture plays in his life on and off the field! Students will also pen pal with Arizona farmers and ranchers each month October – January. Sign-up your classroom today!
