November 2022
Comforting Kids in Cotton- Fundraiser for the Ronald McDonald Houses of Arizona
November 2-4, 2022
Thank you to all of the counties that donated an item for the silent auction at the Arizona Farm Bureau Annual Meeting. Thank you to everyone who bid on the items, this year we raised $2,850 at the trade show. Our fundraising efforts were matched by Phytogen and the Arizona Cotton Growers donated an additional $500. With those funds we purchased the linens for all of the houses here in the metro phoenix area as well as the Tucson Ronald McDonald House. All of the houses are extremely grateful that we are able to supply them with high quality sheets, pillows and towels for their houses. They extend a “huge thank you!” to AZFB and WLC. The WLC committee’s work and AZFB’s support has taken a huge burden from RMDH and is making a difference in comforting with cotton to those who could use it most.
The Arizona Farm Bureau Women's Leadership Committee will host the 4th Annual Comforting Kids in Cotton Silent Auction benefiting the Ronald McDonald Houses of Arizona. Each year the money raised by the AZFB Women's Leadership Committee and donations from Phytogen Cottonseed are used to purchase linens for all of the Ronald McDonald Houses here in Arizona.
